Yeah Chance!
Congrats to Catalyst team rider Chauncey Robinson for taking out his division of the AAU Surfing Championships this past weekend in Cocoa Beach. Chauncey also made the semifinals of the Rip Curl Grom Search in New Smyrna this past weekend, making for a busy few days for the grom. Keep it up Chance!

Team Catalyst on Surfline
Team Catalyst has been getting a little pop on Surfline.com lately, with team riders Blake Jones and Blake Burns both scoring shots in last week’s feature entitled “Low and Behold”. Check the pics below, or click on the following link to go directly to the full feature: LOW AND BEHOLD.
Volcom Seacow Party ReCap
A big thanks to the crew from Volcom for coming out this past Friday night! Everyone that showed up had a great time, got plenty of free BBQ, and of course had their very own customized Volcom hat made right in front of them. Check out the pics below, as well as the bonus video of some weirdness from Volcom and Catalyst team rider Blake Jones. (click the pics for a larger size!)

Inlet Clips From 11-16-10
There’s been tons of good waves out there recently, providing lots of great imagery for the local photogs to capture. Here’s another great video that we came across from this past Tuesday at Sebastian Inlet, courtesy of FLShredCast.com. Be sure to look for Catalyst team riders Blake Jones (yellow wetsuit) and Mike Persichetti (red wetsuit) in the clip, as well as for Mark Dawson (pink and black board) and Phil Watters (Reef rider) and Kyle Garson (green wetsuit), all three of whom are riding …Lost boards grabbed off the shelf at the shop.

Check out this clip that we recently discovered, shot at this year’s King of the Peak, courtesy of FLShredCast.com. Be sure to look for Catalyst Deerfield employees/team riders Austin Bowlby (1:14) and Collin Grimm (4:13) throwing down during the event.

Gorkin’s The New King
Congrats to sometimes Catalyst team rider Aaron Cormican for taking out this year’s King of the Peak at Sebastian Inlet. Gorkin ended up winning eight skins to take the win over Jax beach’s Evan Thompson. Along with eight skins worth of prize money ($200 a piece this year….we think), he also pocketed another $3000 for the taking the overall win. Details are still rolling in at this point, so we’ll have more for you tomorrow. In the mean time, here’s a few pics of the red headed step child himself from the event courtesy of Mama G.
Eddie’s E.C. Rider Profile
Our neighbors up the street at Eastern Surf Magazine just recently did a cool little profile on Catalyst team rider Eddie Guilbeau. It’s entitled “E.C. Riders: Eddie Guilbeau” and is definitely worth a look. Eddie’s a freak talent that we’re stoked to have on the team and definitely deserves the recognition. Jonesers
Check out the clip below featuring Catalyst team riders Blake and Justin Jones, along with friend-of-the-shop Eric “Man-Asses” Ellingham, shot during a trip to Nicaragua this past summer.

Yeah Blake!
Yesterday, we posted up a pic of Catalyst team rider Stephen “Special K” Kaltenbach from ESM’s recent web feature Igor-Aphobia: Part II. Well, we totally blew it by not mentioning that Catalyst teamer Blake Jones also scored the shot below in the very same feature. Blake’s even got the sticker placement down for his typical high-flying antics (check the Catalyst diamond between the fins). To see the entire feature, CLICK HERE.
