Catalyst skate team rider Blake Jones won himself $2000 at the $5000 Lost Energy Drink Pro at the Cocoa Beach Pier this past Easter weekend. Blake was riding a 5'6" ...Lost SDIII that he bought off the shelf a couple months back and has been ripping on ever since. When asked about the board, Blake responded with "faaaaaaaaaaack", which we think means he likes it???

So the smoggy confines of The Hustler in Indialantic went off last night with "The Worst Night of Your Life" presented by Catalyst and ...Lost. Thanks to everyone that came out and got rowdy with us, and to Victor and Junkie Rush for putting on a great show. In yet another "Environmental Awareness Gone Bad" story, it seems as though shredder turned conservationist Dave Rastovich made a slight oversight when designing the packaging for his new "Rasta Keel" model from Future Fins. Now don't get us wrong, we certainly won't argue that saving the ocean's creatures from various poachers and other scumbags is a worthwhile cause, but don't you think that maybe a good place to start would be with your own signature product's packaging? Last time we checked, plastic inside of plastic inside of cardboard wasn't exactly the most environmentally friendly way to go about it.*

In all honesty, the crew at Future Fins makes some of the best fins on the market and puts a lot of time and effort into a really good product. We were just caught a bit off guard with this one.

*(Yes, we know plastic and cardboard can be recycled, but not everywhere, and if it's not your standard plastic bottles, you usually have to take it to a recycle center yourself, which most people can't even find to begin with!)
